The on-board monitor (OBM) is the operating unit and display for the following components:
The functions are operated and displayed on the monitor from the on-board monitor control panel.
The color display is an LCD monitor (5.8 inches) in TFT technology with a cross-section ratio of 16:9. An HMI processor integrated in the navigation computer creates the monitor graphics for all operating modes. The display has an RGB video input for the graphics information from the navigation computer and/or video module.
This switch the most important element for the user to control the systems for navigation, on-board computer and TV. Functions: Selection of menu items, input of destination data and selection of the television reception channel.
The menu key displays the main menu shield, independent of which function is currently active. As standard, when the ignition is switched on the function that was active before switching off the ignition is called up.
