Fault profiles for telephony

The last four columns contain the information on which telephone systems each fault profile applies to:

A: telephone systems with cordless handset (e.g. optional extra 638)
B: telephone systems with hard-wired mobile phone (e.g. optional extra 639 E6x before 03/2005 without Bluetooth retrofit, E65 US before 03/2005, optional extra 664 before 03/2005)
C: Telephone systems with mobile phone connected via Bluetooth (e.g. optional extra 633, optional extra 639 E6x with Bluetooth retrofit, optional extra 639 E6x as of 03/2005, E65 US as of 03/2005, optional extra 664 E65 as of 03/2005 (not Korea), optional extra 639 E87 or E90 and their derivatives as of volume production launch)
D: telephone systems with snap-in adapter connected via Bluetooth (e.g. optional extra 664, only Korea)

Telephony

1	The radio is not muted during a telephone call.		C
2	The SIM card of the customer is not recognized.	A
3	Implausible response of the telephone system on call waiting, brokering, telephone conference.		C
4	The ring tone of the handset can still be heard by the caller although the driver has already accepted the call.	A
5	After calling a phone number that is engaged, no call can be placed for some time. Shortly thereafter, ”terminated” appears on the Control Display.		C
6	The telephone call is terminated against the user's wishes and an inappropriate text message is displayed on the Control Display.		C
