The oil pressure sensors detect the shift state of the transmission and send a signal to the transmission control module to confirm this mode.
The oil pressure sensors are pressure switches that register any pressure applied. When no pressure is applied, the oil pressure sensors are closed; current flows through the sensors. When pressure is applied, the circuit is interrupted by the oil pressure sensors and no current flows. This results in a state matrix of the oil pressure sensors for each shift state of the transmission. The oil pressure sensor are fitted in the valve block of the electrohydraulic transmission control module.
