Check-control messages
An LC display for check control messages is integrated in the instrument cluster. The background lighting of the vehicle symbol is switched on only when a check control message is sent via the K-bus. The light faults that are sent via the bus from the light switching center (LSZ ) to the instrument cluster are indicated in the LC display for check control messages. Light fault statuses occurring simultaneously are displayed in parallel. Messages concerning open doors or trunk (trunk) lid are sent by the general module (GM ) via the bus to the instrument cluster.
