For reasons of efficiency and the associated insufficient heat capacity, an additional heater is installed for the small diesel engine M47. The operating principle corresponds to that of an independent park heater only it cannot be started by means of programming. The independent park heater is started by the heating control unit or microswitch as required. The independent park heater controls heating operation itself based on the water temperature.
