The convertible top is a mechatronic system which can only be assessed by means of function testing.
For troubleshooting, always connect the vehicle to the battery charger.
A cylinder pair is fitted on the left and right of the convertible top for each movement. The double configuration ensures uniformity of movement. If the convertible top or the convertible-top compartment lid does not move as expected, this may be caused by a mechanical or hydraulic fault. The fault is located on the side where there is stiffness.
