On the inner C-pillar trim of the convertible cover, traces of wear can be seen on opening and closing the convertible top.

With an unfavourable conflict of tolerances, the inner C-pillar trim of the convertible cover can scuff on the back expander rivet of the side trim.
Check whether the back expander rivet of the side trim can scuff at the rear on the C-pillar trim.
If necessary, shorten the expander rivet and remove sharp edges.
This fault pattern only occurs very rarely in individual cases. It is not necessary to perform any preventive measure.
On vehicles with date of manufacture after 02.03.2005, a modified expander rivet has been fitted.
