In the test modules for mechanical systems, no unique assignment to the fault determined can be made on the basis of the returned diagnosis data (FASTA data). For this reason, the displayed diagnosis code (DIAGCODE) of the actual fault present on the vehicle must be entered in the comment field of the warranty application.

It is sufficient to enter the last 6 positions of the diagnosis code in the warranty application.

Example:

• Displayed diagnosis code: DIAGCODE D_5434_R52MECH1_W0_200
  
• Entry in the comment field of the warranty application: W0_200
  

Fault not listed in the test module

If there is a fault that is not listed in the test module, please describe the complaint and fault cause in the comment field of the warranty application.

In addition, also enter one of the following codes:

• In the case of a fault with water entry: W0000
  
• In the case of a fault in the visual appearance: V0000
  
• In the case of a fault in the area of convertible top noise: R0000
  
• In the case of a function defect: F0000
