Electric fan DDE

Vehicles without air conditioning system:

The DDE control unit activates the one-stage electric fan via the electric fan relay.

Vehicles with air conditioning system:

The DDE control unit activates the two-stage electric fan via the two electric fan relays. Each stage of the electric fan is activated via a separate relay.

Troubleshooting

The relay activation is monitored for short circuit and open circuit, but the fan motor itself is not monitored.
