Multifunction steering wheel signal DDE

A signal is sent to the DDE control unit from the multifunction steering wheel for cruise control purposes.

Troubleshooting

A fault code is stored if the signal is detected as being faulty.

Consequence: Deactivation of vehicle speed control

• Clutch operated
  
• Brake operated
  
• Speed less than lower control speed
  
• Speed less than lower activation speed
  
• Vehicle deceleration detected
  
• Overshoot shut down
  
• No valid gear engaged
  
• Fault at clutch switch detected
  
• Fault at brake light switch detected
  
• Signal from multifunction steering wheel not plausible
