Overview of functions

Ignition misfires and combustion misfires on the MSS65 are detected exclusively via the corresponding function in the ion flow satellites.

Diagnosis instructions

If misfires are detected, faults are set in the DME control unit.

Important: The misfire detection can distinguish between ignition and combustion misfires. The misfires that are detected can be seen from the fault type in the fault code memory.
