Heated windscreen

Function

The heated windscreen (HFS) is switched on using the button when the ignition key is at position 2 and the engine is running. When the heated windscreen is switched on, the telltale lamp in the switch lights up. To switch off the heated windscreen, the switch must be pressed once again.

At temperatures above 10°C, the heated windscreen runs for 3 minutes. At temperatures below 10°C, the timer runs for 5 minutes.

During a start, the heated windscreen function is interrupted. The telltale lamp remains on. The heated windscreen is switched on 2 seconds after the start.
